abcok Privacy Policy — Your Data, Your Rights, Our Commitment

At abcok, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains — in plain, understandable language — exactly what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have as a Filipino player under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

How abcok Keeps Your Personal Data Safe

These six pillars summarise our approach to protecting the privacy of every Filipino player on the abcok platform. Full details are in the policy below.

Minimal Collection

abcok only collects personal data that is strictly necessary for account operation, identity verification, payment processing, and regulatory compliance. We do not collect data we don't need.

Bank-Grade Encryption

All data transmitted between your device and abcok's servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Stored personal data is encrypted at rest. Your financial information is never stored in plaintext on our systems.

Your Data Subject Rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, object to, and request deletion of your personal data held by abcok. We process all data rights requests within 15 business days.

No Unauthorised Sharing

abcok does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with parties necessary to operate your account — payment processors, game providers, and regulators.

Clear Retention Limits

abcok retains personal data only for as long as necessary. Account data is held while your account is active and for the minimum period required by PAGCOR and Philippine AML regulations after closure.

Philippine Law Compliance

This policy is built on Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and NPC guidelines. abcok is registered with the National Privacy Commission.

Section 01

Who We Are and Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy is published by abcok, the operator of the online gaming platform accessible at abcok.best. abcok is a Philippines-based company operating under a licence issued by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and is registered with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines as a personal information controller.

This policy applies to all individuals who interact with abcok's services, including registered players, visitors to the abcok website who have not yet created an account, applicants for employment, and individuals who contact abcok's support team. When we say "you" or "your" in this policy, we mean any of these individuals. When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean abcok.

By creating an abcok account or by continuing to use our platform after this policy has been made available to you, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how abcok handles your personal data. If you have concerns about anything in this policy, you are encouraged to contact our Data Protection Officer before proceeding — contact details are in Section 15.

In plain language: abcok is the company that runs this website. This policy explains what we do with your personal information. It covers you whether you have an account or are just browsing.

Section 02

What Personal Data abcok Collects

abcok collects personal data across several categories depending on how you interact with the platform. The following table provides a clear breakdown:

Category Examples When Collected
Identity Data Full legal name, date of birth, gender, government ID number (PhilSys, passport, UMID, driver's licence) Registration & KYC verification
Contact Data Mobile number, email address, home address Registration & account updates
Financial Data GCash mobile number, Maya account, bank account name/number, transaction history, deposit and withdrawal records Deposits, withdrawals, KYC
Gaming Data Games played, bet amounts, win/loss records, session duration, bonus history During platform use
Technical Data IP address, device type, browser, operating system, login timestamps, session tokens Automatically during visits
Communications Data Live chat transcripts, email correspondence, support ticket records When you contact support
Verification Media Photos of government-issued IDs, selfies for liveness checks (where applicable) KYC verification process

abcok does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information beyond what is required for identity verification and regulatory compliance. We do not collect biometric data except where liveness verification is required by PAGCOR's KYC standards, and such data is processed strictly for that purpose and deleted after verification is complete.

Section 03

Why abcok Collects Your Personal Data

abcok collects personal data only when there is a clear, legitimate purpose for doing so. We do not collect data speculatively or for purposes we cannot justify. The primary reasons we collect your data are:

  • Account creation and management: To create and maintain your abcok player account, verify your identity, and ensure the account belongs to a single eligible individual.
  • Payment processing: To process your deposits and withdrawals through GCash, Maya, Philippine banks, and card networks, and to verify that payment methods are registered in your name.
  • Regulatory compliance: To meet PAGCOR licensing requirements, including Know Your Customer (KYC) obligations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, and reporting to the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) where required by law.
  • Fraud prevention and security: To detect and prevent fraudulent account activity, unauthorised access, multiple account creation, and payment fraud.
  • Customer support: To respond to your support requests, investigate complaints, and maintain records of support interactions.
  • Responsible gaming: To monitor for indicators of problem gambling and to apply player protection measures including deposit limits, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion.
  • Platform improvement: To analyse aggregated, anonymised usage patterns and improve the abcok platform, game offerings, and user experience.
  • Marketing communications: To send you promotional offers and updates about abcok — only where you have given your consent, and only through channels you have opted into.

Section 04

Legal Basis for Processing Your Data

Under Republic Act No. 10173 (the Data Privacy Act of 2012) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, abcok must have a legal basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following legal grounds:

Processing ActivityLegal Basis
Account registration and managementContract performance
Payment processingContract performance
KYC / identity verificationLegal obligation (PAGCOR / AMLA)
AML transaction monitoringLegal obligation (RA 9160 as amended)
Fraud prevention and securityLegitimate interest
Responsible gaming monitoringLegal obligation (PAGCOR) + Legitimate interest
Marketing and promotional emailsConsent (opt-in)
Platform analytics and improvementLegitimate interest (anonymised/aggregated)

Where abcok relies on your consent as the legal basis for processing — specifically for marketing communications — you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time without penalty. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect your ability to use abcok's services.

Section 05

How abcok Uses Your Personal Data in Practice

Beyond the legal basis outlined above, here is how your data flows through abcok's operations on a practical level that every Filipino player should understand clearly.

Identity and Age Verification

When you register for an abcok account, we use your name and date of birth to confirm that you are at least 21 years old, the legal minimum age for online gambling in the Philippines. If further verification is required — for example, before your first withdrawal or if our systems flag an anomaly — we will request a copy of your government-issued ID. This document is reviewed by our compliance team and stored securely in an encrypted format. It is used solely for verification and regulatory purposes.

Payment and Transaction Processing

abcok shares the minimum necessary financial data with payment processors — GCash, Maya, GrabPay, Coins.ph, Philippine banks, and Visa/Mastercard networks — to execute your deposit and withdrawal requests. We do not store your full bank account or card numbers on our servers; these are tokenised by the respective payment processors. abcok maintains records of transaction amounts, dates, and outcomes for regulatory compliance and dispute resolution purposes.

Game Activity and Session Data

abcok records your game activity — which games you play, bet sizes, session duration, and win/loss outcomes — for several purposes: regulatory reporting to PAGCOR, responsible gaming monitoring, resolving game disputes, and improving our platform. This data is associated with your account internally and is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Aggregated, anonymised gaming data may be used for platform analytics.

Responsible Gaming Monitoring

abcok's responsible gaming systems analyse your gaming patterns for indicators of potentially problematic behaviour — such as large rapid losses, significant increases in bet size, or extended sessions without breaks. These systems are automated and do not involve human profiling for non-compliance purposes. Where indicators are detected, abcok may contact you with information about responsible gaming tools or, in serious cases, apply protective measures in line with PAGCOR requirements.

Section 06

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

abcok uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the platform. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit the abcok website. We use the following types of cookies:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: These are essential for abcok to function — they maintain your login session, remember your language preferences, and enable core platform features. You cannot opt out of these without disabling the service entirely.
  • Performance Cookies: These collect anonymised data about how players use abcok — which pages are visited most often, where errors occur, and how long sessions last. This data is used to improve platform performance. No personal information is collected through performance cookies.
  • Functional Cookies: These remember your preferences — such as your preferred game view or notification settings — to improve your experience on return visits.
  • Analytics Cookies: abcok uses anonymised analytics to understand platform usage patterns. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual players.

abcok does not use advertising or retargeting cookies that track your behaviour across third-party websites. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent abcok from functioning correctly.

abcok does not place third-party advertising trackers. If you see abcok ads on other websites after visiting our platform, those are served by the advertising networks of those external websites — not by abcok.

Section 07

Sharing Your Personal Data With Third Parties

abcok does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share your data only with the following categories of third parties, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Payment Processors: GCash, Maya, GrabPay, Coins.ph, BDO, BPI, UnionBank, and Visa/Mastercard processing networks receive the transaction data needed to execute your deposits and withdrawals. Each processor operates under its own privacy policy and applicable Philippine payment regulations.
  • Game Content Providers: Licensed game developers and live studio operators (such as Pragmatic Play, PG Soft, JILI, and Evolution-format providers) receive your player session token when you launch their games. This is necessary for game operation and fairness auditing. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own marketing purposes.
  • Regulatory Authorities: PAGCOR, the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), and the National Privacy Commission (NPC) may require abcok to provide player data as part of regulatory compliance, licensing reviews, or investigations. abcok complies with all lawful government data requests. Where legally permitted, we will attempt to notify you of such requests.
  • Identity Verification Services: abcok may use third-party KYC technology providers to assist with document verification and liveness checks. These providers process your identity data solely for verification and are bound by strict data processing agreements.
  • IT Service Providers: Cloud hosting, database management, and cybersecurity service providers who support abcok's technical infrastructure may have limited, controlled access to certain data. All such providers are bound by data processing agreements that restrict data use to the specific services they provide.
  • Legal and Professional Advisors: abcok's lawyers, auditors, and compliance consultants may access personal data where strictly necessary for legal advice or audit purposes, and are bound by professional confidentiality obligations.

No marketing companies, data brokers, or advertising networks receive your personal data from abcok. Full stop.

Section 09

Security Measures Protecting Your Data at abcok

abcok implements multiple layers of technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Our key security practices include:

  • TLS 1.3 Encryption in Transit: All communication between your browser or device and abcok's servers is encrypted using current-generation Transport Layer Security.
  • Encryption at Rest: Personal data, financial records, and KYC documents stored in abcok's systems are encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): abcok offers — and strongly recommends — 2FA for all player accounts. This adds a second verification step that significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised account access.
  • Access Controls: abcok employees can only access personal data on a strict need-to-know basis. All internal data access is logged and regularly reviewed by our Data Protection Officer and security team.
  • Regular Security Audits: abcok conducts periodic security assessments, including penetration testing by independent security professionals, to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
  • Data Breach Response: abcok has an incident response plan for data security events. In the event of a breach affecting your personal data, abcok will notify the NPC within 72 hours as required by the Data Privacy Act, and will notify affected players without undue delay.

No security system is completely infallible. abcok cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted over the internet. You can help protect your account by using a strong unique password, enabling 2FA, and never sharing your login details with anyone.

Section 10

Your Rights Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173)

As a Filipino data subject, Republic Act No. 10173 gives you specific rights over your personal data. abcok respects and facilitates all of these rights. Here is what you can do:

Right to Access

Request a copy of the personal data abcok holds about you, including how it is being used and with whom it has been shared.

Right to Rectification

Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold. Most contact details can be updated directly in your abcok account settings.

Right to Erasure

Request deletion of your personal data where we no longer have a legal basis to keep it. Note that regulatory retention obligations may prevent immediate deletion of some records.

Right to Object

Object to processing of your personal data, particularly where we rely on legitimate interest as our legal basis. You may always opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Right to Data Portability

Request your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format so you can transfer it to another service provider.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe abcok has mishandled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines.

To exercise any of these rights, contact abcok's Data Protection Officer at privacy@abcok.best or via our support live chat. abcok will respond to all data rights requests within 15 business days. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request to ensure we are responding to the correct person.

Section 11

Children's Privacy

abcok's services are strictly intended for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21. Our registration process includes date-of-birth verification, and accounts found to belong to minors are immediately closed with any deposited funds returned to the payment source.

If you believe a minor has created an abcok account or that abcok has inadvertently collected personal data from someone under 21, please contact us immediately at privacy@abcok.best. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion of any data collected and reporting to relevant authorities where required.

Section 12

Marketing Communications and Your Preferences

abcok sends marketing communications — including promotional offers, bonus notifications, game announcements, and tournament invitations — only to players who have explicitly opted in to receive them. Marketing consent is obtained separately during the registration process and can be managed at any time from your abcok account settings.

If you opt in to marketing communications, abcok may contact you via SMS to your registered mobile number, email to your registered address, and push notifications if you have enabled these on your device. We do not use phone calls for marketing purposes.

You can opt out of all marketing communications at any time by:

  • Updating your communication preferences in your abcok account settings
  • Clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email from abcok
  • Sending "STOP" in response to any SMS from abcok
  • Contacting our support team and requesting removal from all marketing lists

Opting out of marketing communications does not affect your ability to use abcok's services and does not affect transactional communications related to your account — such as withdrawal confirmations, security alerts, or support responses.

Section 13

Cross-Border Data Transfers

abcok's primary data infrastructure is hosted in the Philippines and in certified data centres in the Asia-Pacific region. Some of our third-party service providers — particularly game content providers and certain cloud infrastructure partners — are based outside the Philippines. When personal data is transferred to a recipient in another country, abcok ensures that adequate safeguards are in place in accordance with Section 21 of the Data Privacy Act and NPC guidelines.

These safeguards include contractual data processing agreements that impose data protection standards equivalent to those required under Philippine law, and — where applicable — the use of processors located in jurisdictions with comparable data protection frameworks. abcok does not transfer your data to countries or territories that lack adequate legal protections for personal data without appropriate contractual safeguards in place.

The majority of your data stays in the Philippines or in APAC-based servers. Any cross-border transfer happens only with processors who are contractually required to protect your data to the same standard.

Section 14

Changes to This Privacy Policy

abcok reviews and updates this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our data processing practices, regulatory requirements, or platform features. When we make material changes — changes that affect your rights or how your data is processed — we will notify you by email to your registered address and display a prominent notice on the abcok platform for at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects when this policy was most recently revised. For minor, non-material changes such as clarifications in language or formatting corrections, we may update the policy without prior notification. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of abcok after an updated policy has been posted constitutes your acknowledgement of the changes.

Previous versions of this policy are available upon request by contacting our Data Protection Officer. This allows you to compare current and past versions if you wish to understand what has changed.

Section 15
